Four Week Notices

The Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA) requires that any school in receipt of Title I Funds must inform parents if their child is assigned a teacher for four or more consecutive weeks who has not yet met state certification/licensure requirements.

Timely notice to parents is sent home with your child when the student has been taught for four or more consecutive weeks by a teacher who is not highly qualified.  This notice is commonly referred to as the "Four-Week Notice".
